British Council's & Ministry of Education Training Workshop Regarding EL Trainers , Inspectors Teachers and English language University

The British council , in conjunction with The Ministry of Education, Training and Qualification sector, has recently conducted training workshop for EL Trainers , Inspectors Teachers and University students ( English department Level 4 and 3 for the period 12-15/2/2011 in Taiz.
Day 1 Saturday ( 12-2-2011):
25 trainers and inspectors attended the workshop which was about Motivating the EFL Teacher and Developing lesson plans that work . The workshop lasted from 8:30am till 2:00pm.
Day 2 Sunday ( 13-2-2011):
25 teachers and inspectors from Al-Mudhafar district attended the workshop which was about Developing lesson plans that work and Effectively Teaching Reading Techniques and Skills.The workshop lasted from 8:30am till 2:00pm. Then another training workshop was held at Taiz university for English language students who will be teachers in the near future ( level 3 + level 4 ). 45 students attended the workshop .The topic was Developing lesson plans that work . There was a big discussion between the trainer Lisa ( British council training expert ) and the university students. The workshop lasted from 4:00pm till 5:30pm. Dr. Mohammed Shawal from Taiz university ( Vice dean for students affair attended the lecture .
Day 3 Monday ( 14-2-2011):
37 teachers and inspectors from Saber Al-Mawadem and Shar'ab Alsallam districts attended the workshop which was about Developing lesson plans that work and Effectively Teaching Reading Techniques and Skills .The workshop lasted from 8:30am till 2:00pm. Then another training workshop was held at Taiz university for English language students who will be teachers in the near future ( level 3 + level 4 ). 40 students attended the workshop .The topic was Communicative Activities .The trainer Lisa ( British council training expert ) made this workshop according to the need of the students . Also there was a discussion between the trainer ( Lisa ) and the university students .The workshop lasted from 4:00pm till 5:30pm. Dr. Mohammed Shawal from Taiz university ( Vice dean for students affair attended the lecture .
From me personally Hakim and from the British council staff , many thanks to Dr. Mohammed Shawal , Dr. Mashhour and Dr. Taha from Taiz university who offered great help in arranging and waiting with us till things were prepared .As we wish to do equivalent workshops in the near future which make benefit for the students of our country.
Day 4 Tuesday ( 15-2-2011):
20 trainers ,inspectors and teachers , attended the workshop which was about The communicative Driven EFL Teacher and Motivating the EFL Teacher . The workshop lasted from 8:30am till 1:30.
Generally speaking, I offer thank to The Trainer Lisa P Christian and a lot of thanks for Mr. Fetwi who usually has been in touch with us providing help and keeping in touch with us all the time.. Also, we have a pleasure to thank Miss.
